There is something special about singing carols by candlelight. The Mount Barker Region Ministers Fellowship presents the Mount Barker Carols and Fireworks to capture this feeling and welcome the Christmas spirit to Mount Barker and the Adelaide Hills. This year, Mount Barker Carols and Fireworks will take place at the Summit Sports and Recreation Park, starting with children's activities—a free rock climbing wall, 'Road to Bethlehem' activities, and face painting—and the opportunity to purchase various food and drinks to help families get into the festive spirit. You are invited to work your vocal cords and swing your candles as you sing along to your favourite Christmas carols and tunes with music by the Carols Big Band and wonderful vocalists, including Lisa Duffield and students from St Francis de Sales College, Cornerstone College, the Adelaide Hills Vocational College, and Mount Barker High School. Our special guest performers this year are 'The Amazing Drumming Monkeys' who will delight audience members, both young and young at heart. And, in true Carols tradition, our fabulous fireworks display will finish off what promises to be a fantastic night. See you there!
