Adelaide's highest peak, Mount Lofty Summit, is a five-minute drive from the Crafers township. The summit offers views over Adelaide, The Summit Restaurant and Café, a Visitor Information Outlet and gift shop. Energetic visitors can hike around the summit, or even all the way to or from Waterfall Gully. A two minute drive from "the summit" is Cleland Wildlife Park, where visitors can interact with Australian native wildlife; feed and pat the Kangaroos, see Tasmanian Devils, Koalas, Dingos, Emus and more. Two minutes further down the road is the gorgeous Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, with an extensive collection of azaleas, rhododendrons and fern gully, providing an opportunity for some lovely hikes.
