Lobethal Bierhaus is a small craft brewery producing a range of award-winning character beers, with on-site tasting room, restaurant and beer garden featuring local brew food. Pouring traditional ales and innovative new brews, including Australia’s first lentil beer which is gluten free!

Grünthal Brew HQ in Verdun is not only home to the newest craft brewery in the Hills - you'll also find Grünthal Beer conveniently co-located with Grünthal Gin, Udder Delights Cheese and Hesketh Wine. Dishing up delicious pizzas and modern Australian fare, pulling up a chair inside or by the banks of the Onkaparinga River will take you straight to craft beer utopia.

Union Bridge Brewery is another brand new addition to our local craft beer scene, having transformed the old Creek Cold Store in Cudlee Creek into a 1920s-style brewery and cellar door (and soon-to-be distillery). Currently serving top local brews including an IPA, Hard Lemonade, and award-winning Irish Stout, enjoy grazing dishes from the kitchen as you make your way through their tasting paddles. Gulf Brewery in Hahndorf produces crisp lagers and ciders, smooth chocolate stouts, organic and smoked beers, with a range of delicious pizzas.
