Sidewood’s Charred Long Lunch Celebrating Winter Reds

Announcing a very special celebration at Sidewood Estate during the Winter Reds Festival on Sunday 28th of July. Indulge in the ultimate long lunch. You will enjoy Sidewood’s warm hospitality and a decadent eight dish feed me menu of shared plates curated by celebrated Sidewood chef, Jamie Carter. Jamie has put a fire twist on the newly released and super delicious winter menu, with produce proudly sourced within 3km of Sidewood’s award winning cellar door in the Adelaide Hills. Shared plates include: Hahndorf venison tartar, quandong, puffed rice; charred zucchini, ajo blanco; smoked almond Local lamb rack in our wood oven, plums from the coals, lamb jus; Confit duck, lentils, charred kale, smoked pumpkin; Burnt broccolini, fire roasted romesco; Baby carrots, labneh, honey and zhoug; Burnt orange crème Catalana, pistachio lavosh; and Bruleed chevre, roast pear. Food will be matched with Sidewood’s premium rosé sparkling and red wines all afternoon, with guests finishing off with their 22 year old Tawny and Sparkling Shiraz. Enjoy entertainment throughout the day, surrounded by heaters and fire with bespoke theming to make it an unforgettable experience.
