10.00am Apple Strudel construction at the Hahndorf Inn with exclusive access before the Inn opens to the public. 10.30am Hufendorf Tour Your guide will meet you at the Hahndorf Inn where you will commence your tour. You will then be taken to St Michael's Lutheran church - again you have exclusive access! and then onto the private properties of two local residents only 5mins from the church. There you will hear stories of the immigrants and the how they survived in this new South Land of Australia. Did I say you have exclusive access? That's 3! 11.45-12.15pm Amble back to the Hahndorf Inn via Humbugs for your Dutch licorice tasting, drop into the Germanic museum at the Hahndorf Academy or enjoy looking into some of our specialty shops on the way back to the Hahndorf Inn for your meal. 12.15pm Delicious lunch Main course: Enjoy a Germanic cultural plate which includes a choice between two German sausages, potato salad with sliced dill, sauerkraut, side serve of mustard and a pretzel. Yes, a vegetarian option can be provided. Dessert: The strudel which you made earlier in the day will be served with vanilla bean ice cream and cream.
